Defunding OSHA and other DOL inspections where non employees accompany inspectors

AMENDMENT TO H.R. [XXXX], AS REPORTED OFFERED BY [NAME OF MEMBER] OF [STATE]

At the end of the bill insert the following:

Sec. [XXX]. (a) None of the funds made available by this Act may be used by the Department of Labor to perform investigations or inspections when an employee representative is present unless that employee representative is an employee of the employer that is being investigated or inspected.

(b) Nothing in this amendment shall be construed to create a right to have an employee representative present at any investigation or inspection where that right is not already provided for by law.
